The last dance show on Friday was titled "Sakura Ondo" (Sakura Festival Song).  Dance formation with folding fans was well-established and performance was a flowery expressed.  Cherry blossoms are the most popular flowers in Japan.  Even if they are in bloom for several days, Japanese enjoy their evanescent beauty.

Tatsumi Engeki Box had a special guest named Shojiro ASAI.  He was one of the oldest members of the company.  Although he made his own theatrical company, he has respected Tatsumi's father, Noboru KOIZUMI and has followed the artistic tradition of his teacher.  His company named Shoken-za is of course familiar with Tatsumi Engeki Box.

Tatsumi put on kimono & pants which were typical clothes for court noblemen in the Heian Period (the 8th - 12th century).  At that time, Japan had few communication with other foreign countries and Japanese culture was originated and established.

The last performance on Sunday was titled "Ai-no Meikyu" (Love Labyrinth).  Music was baced on Samba in Latin and dance was passionate.  At the night show, most spectators stood and shook their bodies together.  It was my favorite performance.
