Today, I talk about "expression".  Actors & actresses are good at posing for pictures on stage.  However, they sometimes show their own expression during dancing.  I introduce some.
Tatsumi was full of hope.

Koryu played a role of O-shichi.  "Tale of O-shichi" was the most famous program of Bunraku or Japanese Puppet Theatrical Art.  O-shichi 17-year old girl met a young boy after a fire.  They fell in love but they had to separate after their families rebuilt new houses.  O-shichi could not give up him and she thought that she could met him if she made a fire again.  How poor she was.  She was accused of arson and put to death with fire.
Writer was CHIKAMATSU Monzaemon in the Edo Period (around 18th Century).  Koryu changed her dance on the way and seemed to be a puppet manipulated.
