Wednesday & Thursday were Dia's days.  His elder brother Tatsumi left Miyoshi and he was on stage in Osaka.  Dia became a director of the company for two (2) days instead of Tatsumi.
Thursday's play was titled "Shimada Ruten, Elder Brother".  The first half of the play was comical but it changed a deep emotional story in the latter half.

His solo performance of shamisen was so excellent.  He improved his technique.







The last show was titled "Isshin Tasuke" or Fishmonger Tasuke.  Dia played Tasuke role and Koryu played an old samurai, Okubo, role.  Their communication on stage made audience fun.

                             The last show is titled "Ishikawa Goemon" from Kabuki program.

Today's play was titled "Echigo Ninkyo-den" or "Tale of Men with chivalrous spirits in Echigo (located in the northern part of Japan)".   Men with chivalrous spirits showed their obstinacy, pride and dignity in the story.  The skillful actor Yoshinori TAKARA seemed to be a main cast and his performance made audience impressive.

The last performance was titled "Shimanchu-no Takara" or "Treasures of Islanders" that was based on the Okinawa folk song.  The dance formation was well-trained and costumes were really beautiful.

Saturday's play was titled "Tsuki" or "The Moon".  Tatsumi played a warmhearted samurai role.  He seemed to be a ronin who was a unemployed samurai and he had a scar from a burn on his face.   He was good at painting the burn with red, black and white brushes.   The story was a tragic love.  Photo is Tatsumi saying "Thank you" on stage after the play.

The last was a Shamisen show.  Koryu (left), Tatsumi (center) and Dia (right) played a shamisen and their technique were imploved.  Dia became especially a high-skilled player.  After the stage he told me his recent point of the practice.  I expect him to succeed.
  

The youngest actress, Wakako was on stage with her mother Koryu.  She showed her solo dance and joined Koryu later.  Her cute performance made audience fun.







The second youngest actor, Light KOIZUMI played an old woman role in a short drama titled "Go Go Yasubeh".  He passed a letter and Sake (rice wine) to Yasubeh (Tatsumi played).  Tatsumi blew the sake on Light's face!
Successive actors and actresses who played this old woman role were under rice wine from Tatsumi.

Sunday's play was titled "Akegarasu Tanzaburo" or Wanderer Tanzaburo.  Tatsumi played Tanzaburo role and a comedian Ueo played an enemy role.  Although the original story was not a comedy, Ueo led the story into a comical drama.

The last show was Demon's Drum.  Tatsumi, Dia and Ueo played a Japanese drum.  It was so excited.

Wednesday's play was titled "Yasutaro shigure" which was a comical drama of revenge.  Normally the drama of revenge tends to be a serious direction.  However,  Dia played a comedian role and the whole drama became fun.

Tatsumi will be away from the company for appearing on another stage in Osaka on the 24th and 25th of November.  Dia becomes a temporary "Zacho" (the cahirman of the comapany) for two (2) days instead of Tatsumi.  Regarding Tatsumi's schedule, it will be informed later.

 

Today's play was titled "Seki-no Gohon Matsu (Five Pine trees in Seki)".  The story was about a quirk of fale between three guys and two ladies.  Although Tatsumi is a leading actor, he is often disappointed in love.
